Letter from Rabbi Avraham Chaim Na’eh Regarding Torah Shiu’rim (Measurements)

Long letter from Rabbi Avraham Chaim Na’eh clarifying his opinion on the correct measurement of the “amah.”

The letter is typewritten and signed by Rabbi Avraham Chaim Na’eh and contains much important information on the halachic sources which he relied upon. In addition to the shiurim matter, Rabbi Na’eh also strongly opposed the eiruv in Bnei Brak, claiming that it is halachically forbidden to carry with such an eiruv.

Despite the Chazon Ish’s strong opposition to Rabbi Naeh’s view of the matter of shiurim, he greatly respected him and even expressed: “I never had a challenging opponent like Rabbi Chaim Naeh…”

Dated Jerusalem, 1949.
