Handwritten, Signed Letter from Rabbi David Halberstam of Chebin

A handwritten and signed letter from Rabbi David Halberstam of Chebin.

Written on a personal postcard dated 1938, he warmly writes in his letter, " He should be blessed from the wellsprings of blessing and salvation with plenty of blessing and success."

Rabbi David Halberstam (1892 - 1942) was the son of Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Frysztak and son-in-law of Rabbi Eliezer HaLevi Rosenfeld of Auschwitz who was the son-in-law of the Divrei Chaim. He served as Av Beis Din of Shlisk and Admor of Chebin and was greatly admired by the holy leaders of his time. He was murdered with his wife and ten children in the Holocaust.
