Fundamental Chassidic Work Complete Set of Tiferes Shlomo by Rabbi Shlomo of Radomsk Warsaw, 1867-1869. First Edition. * Kabbalistic and chassidic chiddushim and explanations on the Torah and Festivals by Rabbi Shlomo HaKohen of Radomsk. Rabbi Shlomo HaKohen of Radomsk (1803-1866), known as the ‘Tiferes Shlomo’ after his magnum opus, was one of the great tzaddikim of Poland. His holy court attracted chassidim by the thousands and catapulted the town of Radomsk into one of the major Jewish metropolises of Poland. In his sefer, Tiferes Shlomo, he expounds upon the attributes and value of the chassidic path and its potential to “draw every Jew close.” The Sanzer Rebbe wrote in his approbation: ”For it will be of benefit to the world and especially for the faithful who yearn to follow the chassidic path.” Among the chassidim of Poland it was well-known that, regarding matters of livelihood, he possessed extraordinary influence, and the Divrei Chaim of Sanz said that the key of parnassah was placed in his hand to bestow abundant goodness upon the people of Yisrael (Ohel Shlomo, p. 58). Volume II was printed before Volume I and contains two title pages.
