In the copy before us, there are seven pages of 'Question and Answer' in which he responded to the doubts and questions of the author of the Noda B'Yehudah regarding the Hasidim, the prayer text and their customs. This response is missing in many copies. The book Shaar HaTefillah, by the holy Rabbi Chaim, Av Beis Din of Chernivtsi and the region of Bacau, and in his later years, he traveled to the Holy Land and sent this work from there. The holy Rabbi Chaim of Chernivtsi (approx. 1746 - 1817), a disciple of Rabbi Yechiel Michel of Zloczow and one of the great Tzaddikim of Hasidism, author of ”Be'er Mayim Chaim”, ”Siduro Shel Shabbat” and other books. Av Beis Din of Mohyliv, Botosani, Kishinev and the region of Bukovina, Krypche, Chernivtsi, Botosani and Kishinev. In 1813 he immigrated to Eretz Israel and settled in Safed.
