He tied most of his career to Juventus, a club with which he won seven consecutive Serie A championships (from 2011-12 to 2017-18), one Serie B (2006-07), three Italian Super Cups (2012, 2013 and 2015) and four consecutive Italian Cups (from 2014-15 to 2017-18). He also boasts the victory of a Prem'er-Liga championship with Zenit St. Petersburg (2018-19).
