Apulian red-figure thymiaterion, Manner of the White Sakkos Painter (Schauenburg). - Apulian red-figure thymiaterion, Manner of the White Sakkos Painter (Schauenburg). 320 - 310 BC. Hight 30,5cm, ø foot 13,9cm. Tall incense burner with small bowl, two disks and wide stand. At the upper part painted in white two maeander, a band of waves and two rings of rays, between red lines. At the lower part red-figured with details in white and yellow an Amor with bird, fan and aryballos walking to the right. With TL-analysis (copy)! Broken below the upper disk and reattached, a large fragment of the foot is also broken and reattached, the upper side of this fragment is retouched, small chips at the lower disk.
