Figural Late Roman mouldmade terra sigillata bottle in form of a woman´s head. - Figural Late Roman mouldmade terra sigillata bottle in form of a woman´s head. North Africa, 1st half 4th century AD. Height 21,6cm, width 13,8cm. One-handle bottle with small concave neck. The veiled lady - perhaps a member of the Constantine family - wearing a hairdress with two rows of curls and with long hair at the sides as well as a wreath with central juwel. Restored crack at the neck, otherwise intact and nearly completely covered with sinter.
