Figural Roman mouldmade terra sigillata bottle in form of a girls´s head. - Figural Roman mouldmade terra sigillata bottle in form of a girls´s head. North Africa, early 4th century AD. Height 26,4cm, width 11,3cm. One-handle bottle with slightly concave neck and profiled mouth. The girl wearing a hairdress with horizontal rows of curls and triangle shaped hair above the forehead. Furthermore she is having interesting attributes like a pine cone at the top of the head and an object between her eyes looking like a third cylcopic eye but meaning more probably a juwel. Around the neck a tight-fitting necklace. Interesting iconography! Intact.
