Late Roman cylindrical bottle type 18 with figural decor. - Late Roman cylindrical bottle type 18 with figural decor. North Africa, end 3rd - early 4th century AD. Height 24,6cm, ø 9,3cm. Mouldmade with light brown terracotta. Neck in form of the head of an old woman. On the frontside above a silen watching how two satyrs supporting the drunken Bacchus, in the middle zone Venus and right of her a hunting scene, with a dog attacking a hare and a hunter on horseback, below three further horsemen. On the back above Venus between two cupids, on the right Diana, in the middle and lower zones hunting scenes with hunters on horseback and dogs attacking hares. Intact.
