Head of Silenos from an antefix. - Head of Silenos from an antefix. Etruscan, 1st half 4th century BC. Height 21,4cm and with stand 27,2cm, width 17,8cm. Light to reddish brown terracotta. Front mould formed, details and hair are worked elaborately out by hand. Awesome piece! At the back round break to the lost imbrex, small fragment below on the left is broken and reattached, otherwise in excellent condition, mounted on a stand.
