Greek head of woman with polos. - Greek head of woman with polos. Greek Classical Period, Sicily, 400 - 375 BC. Height 15,8cm and with stand 29,5cm. Hand mould brown terracotta. Nearly in the round head of a young lady with voluminous hairdress with middle part. She is wearing a tall polos and a necklace, both decorated with stamped circle ornaments. Narrow part of the back is flattened. Masterpiece of Greek terracotta figurines! Broken at the neck, otherwise in excellent condition, mounted on tall wooden stand.
