Large Roman statuette of Venus Anadyomene. - Large Roman statuette of Venus Anadyomene. Middle Imperial Period, about 2nd third 2nd century AD. Hight 35,4cm and with stand 38,8cm. Reddish brown terracotta, mould formed, details by handwork. The goddess of love with upraised arms and in contrapostian position wearing a middle parting and bun at the back of the head, furthermore she is wearing stepháne, necklace, two bracelets and a ring on the left tigh. Surface flaked off from the upper body to the tighs, small chippings at the hands, with low oval base made of greenish stone.
