A fine marble portrait of a young boy. - A fine marble portrait of a young boy with shaved hair wearing a youth lock on his right side. The skin and muscles are sculptured in a most delicate and smooth way in contrast to the rather rough inscriptions of the short stubbles of the hair and the drilling holes in the lock. This contrast is apparently deliberatly created by the artist and gives this excellent potrait a lively appearance. 1st third 3rd century AD. Neck broken. Nose tip broken. Otherwise only small dents. With copy of the invoice of 1977!
