Roman votive relief for Priapos. - Roman votive relief for Priapos. Middle Imperial Period, 2nd - 3rd century AD. Height 20.9cm, width 14.9cm. Highly rectangular relief with a round top made of white marble. In the recessed field, the bearded and ithyphallic god of fertility stands frontally in front of a burning altar. He wears a double-belted tunic, with the lower belt made of fruit. In his right hand he holds a branch, with his left he lifts his robe and presents the large phallus. With detailed description in a plexiglass stand and copy of the invoice! Below and at the lower left side broken, missing part at the upper right side.
