Shabti of Pa-ra-nacht. - Shabti of Pa-ra-nacht. New Kingdom, 20th dynasty, time of Ramses IV. or Ramses V., ca. 1152 - 1142 BC. Basalt, H 13cm. Mummy-shaped with tripartite wig and ploughs in the crossed hands. A net-like sack carved over the left shoulder. Black paint residue on the wig and hands, red paint residue on the face and the sack over the shoulder. Around the body are four horizontal and one vertical register with precisely carved hieroglyphs, which represent an abbreviated form of the Book of the Dead's spell 6. Beautiful hieroglyphs! With fotocopy of catalogue from 1985! Tip of feet restored.
