Shabti of Paser. - Shabti of Paser, vizier and high priest of Amun. Clay, remnants of colour, H 17.4cm. New Kingdom, reign of Seti I and Ramses II, about 1310 - 1240 BC. Mummy-shaped with tripartite wig and two ploughs in the crossed hands. The front is detailed, the back roughly worked. Seven of probably eight original registers of the hieroglyphic inscription preserved (Book of the Dead 6). Broken and glued under the arms and at about knee height, feet missing.
