Shabti of Nes-Amun-jpet. - Shabti of Nes-Amun-jpet. New Kingdom, 21st dynasty, ca. 1000 BC. Red clay, rests of blue colour. H 19.2cm. Found in 1891 in Deir el-Bahari, Cachette II. Mummy-shaped with plastically curled wig and ploughs in the crossed arms. The hieroglyphic inscription running from the hands to the feet at the front reads Enlightenment of Osiris, the priest of purification, the minister of the temple of Amun, Nes-Amun-jpet . Mounted, worn, intact.
