Shabti of Nefer-ib-Re-sa-Neith. - Shabti of Nefer-ib-Re-sa-Neith. Turquoise faience, H 19.4cm. Late Period, 26th dynasty, reign of Amasis, about 570 - 626 BC. Mummy-shaped with a back pillar, a tripartite wig, a beard, and a bag, hoe and plough in crossed hands. The hieroglyphic inscription runs in nine horizontal lines around the body. Excellent preservation and workmanship! Only small dents at tip of the beard and left front edge of the plinth. Reassembled crack at the knees with only a tiny splinter missing. Published several times from 1971 onwards!
