Shabti of Ikaros. - Shabti of Ikaros. Turquoise faience, H 16.8cm. Ptolemaic, circa 330 - 30 BC. Probably from Sakkara. Mummy-shaped with a back pillar, a tripartite wig, a beard, and a hoe and plough in crossed hands. The hieroglyphic inscription, written in black paint, reads Ikaros Osiris, justified forever . Intact. Published first time in 1951!
