Tapering headrest. - Limestone, W 20cm, H 20cm, D 7.5cm. Tapering headrest with a fascia at the base and a concave, sidewards projecting top. Flat high reliefs on the narrow sides depict Nefertem on one side and the lion-headed Sekhmet on the other. Both hold a scepter and are crowned with their respective crowns. Above are the inscriptions: Sakhmet, beloved of Ptah and Nefertem, son of Ptah. New Kingdom 19th - 20th dynasty, 1297 - 1070 BC. With a lot of additional material!
