Gold plate with the throne name of Thutmosis III. - Gold plate with the throne name of Thutmosis III. New Kingdom, 18th dynasty, 1486 - 1425 BC. H 7,8cm, B 3,2cm. Chased gold plate with royal cartouche 'Men-cheper-Re', the throne name of the pharaoh. The other hieroglyphs mean: 'Beloved of Ptah, the one with the beautiful face.' Perforated to be sewn onto mummy bandages. Small cracks at the edge.
