Two animal amulets. - Two animal amulets: a) L 2.2cm. Made of steatite with green faience glaze. Reclining dog. Wax residue on the underside. With plexiglass base. Late Period, 664 - 332 BC. Intact. b) H 1.2cm, L 1.2cm. Made of light green faience, eyes in red faience. Longitudinal drilling. Amenophis III seal amulet with a frog sitting on a round base and the symbols for a Maat feather, a sun disc and a Neb basket engraved on the underside. The reading results in the throne name of King Amenophis III, Neb-Maat-Re. The king's name could also be read as the name of the god Amun. New Kingdom, 1388 - 1351 BC. Intact.
