Collection of three scarabs. - Collection of three scarabs: a) a) L 1.5cm. Made of light brown steatite with longitudinal drilling. On the underside with cartouche with the throne name of Thutmosis III = Men-cheper-Re; further inscription to be read as cryptogram �Amun praises King Men-cheper-Re�. b) L 1.4cm. Made of steatite with remnants of green glaze and longitudinal drilling. Inscription on the underside: cartouche with the throne name Amenophis II = Aa-cheperu-Re and �Imen�/the god Amun in cryptic writing on the left and right (the royal ring is also to be read as a phonetic value). c) L 1.3cm. Of light-colored steatite with remnants of brown glaze and longitudinal drilling. On the underside with inscription: the throne name of Thutmosis III, without cartouche: �Men-cheper-Re�, with the addition �the one chosen by Re�. New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, 1540 - 1292 BC.
