Bronze statuette of Sachmet. - Bronze statuette of Sachmet, H 13cm. Enthroned, lion-headed goddess Sekhmet, dressed in a tight-fitting robe. Both hands rest on her thighs. Her feet rest on a soclet. Hieroglyphs on the back of the throne. Late Period, 1st millennium BC. Green patina, small casting defects on the face and one arm, tip of one ear missing.
