Large alabaster bowl. - Large alabaster bowl. Early Dynastic to Old Kingdom, 1st - 3rd Dynasty, 3100 - 2600 BC. H 6.4cm, ø 29.6cm. Beautiful alabaster, with an attractive brown grain on the outside and the circular interior below the rim. The rim of the very shallow bowl with its round base is sharply set off on the inside. Magnificent specimen! Composed of mostly large fragments.
