Wooden carved mummy mask. - Wooden carved mummy mask, light gesso and painting in black, light blue and ochre, six ancient holes, some of which still have pins, L 32,5cm, W 17,5cm. Late Period, 1st millennium B.C. Two-thirds of the stucco and paintwork in the area of the wig has flaked off, with fragments missing under the chin. Well preserved painting!
