Slender Apulian red-figure oinochoe of the Kantharos Group. - Slender Apulian red-figure oinochoe of the Kantharos Group. 320 - 310 BC. H 28.5cm, ø 9.9cm. Jug of type 1 with treefoil mouth and high stirrup handle. The obverse depicts a woman's head wearing a richly decorated sakkos. Clay-ground surfaces with a red overlay, rich use of white and yellow. Handle broken and reattached, with small retouched defect, otherwise intact with very well preserved colors.
