Large Corinthian black-figure alabastron. - Large Corinthian black-figure alabastron. Transitional style - Early Corinthian, 620 - 610 BC. H 18.2cm, ø 10.2cm. Two lions facing each other, with rosettes in between. Details in red. Small part of the muzzle plate is missing, small bumps and scratches. From the collection of pianist Professor Detlef Kraus (1919-2008), acquired in the 1960s to the early 1970s.
