A figure of a hippopotamus. - A figure of a hippopotamus made of cipollino verde. Roman Imperial Period, 1st - 3rd century AD. Eyes probably inlaid in other material. On the top of the head it is prepared to hold some attachment. With copy of the invoice from 1986! Right hind leg and part of the nose at the right side broken. Small parts behind the right ear and at the toes missing.
