Bronze figure of Harpocrates. - A bronze figure of the young Harpocrates holding his right finger at his lip. He is holding a horn in his left. At the hips his body turns in that of a crocodile. Apparently the god was worshipped in this form in Canopus. L 11,5cm. Romano-Egyptian, 2nd century AD. Green patina, intact. This piece is published in LIMC!
