Figurative perfume bottle. - Figurative flacon. Faience, H 9.5cm. Kneeling figure (Hapi?) with a tripartite wig holds a large egg-shaped vase on which a frog sits. The open mouth of the frog serves as a spout. On the head of the figure a reed crown. The back is covered with a black-dotted panther skin. Late Period, 26th Dynasty, 664 - 525 BC. Published and exhibited in 1985!
