An Islamic Brass Tray with Geometric and Foliate Motifs, Egypt or Syria. An Islamic brass tray featuring an engraved six-pointed star at the centre, filled with intricate interlacing arabesque knots. The central star is framed by a ring of alternating roundels bearing stylised Kufic script and floral scrollwork, all enclosed within multiple geometric and vegetal borders.
