Bidspirit auction | A Qajar Tinned Copper Bucket

A Qajar Tinned Copper Bucket with Arabic Calligraphy and Figural Scenes, 19th Century. The globular body is richly engraved with a continuous frieze of seated and standing courtly figures amidst dense arabesque foliage, birds, and animals, creating a dynamic narrative scene. The upper shoulder features a band of stylized Arabic calligraphy, which appears to be a benedictory inscription rendered in an elegant cursive script. The handle is attached with stylized bird-headed terminals, adding a sculptural flourish to the vessel's utilitarian form. H (Without Handle): Approximately 21cm Provenance: Private collection from a distinguished W London collector.
