An Indo-Persian Iron Kulah Khud Helmet with Inlaid Script and Finial. An iron helmet with a domed form and slightly flared rim, surmounted by a prominent tapering finial. The surface is embellished with etched floral cartouches and medallions filled with Arabic script, alternating with arabesque patterns. The lower band is encircled by a continuous frieze of floral motifs and script-filled ovals. H: Approximately 24cm Provenance: Private collection from a distinguished W London collector.
