A Silver Abbasid Dirham from Madinat al-Salam, 198 AH (813 AD). A silver Abbasid dirham struck in 198 Hijri (813 AD) at the mint of Madinat al-Salam (Baghdad). The obverse displays the classic concentric inscription rings with central kufic script, while the reverse features the traditional Abbasid layout with horizontal inscriptions framed within a circular margin. 2.88g Provenance: Private collection from a distinguished Danish collector.
