A Silver Indo-Scythian Tetradrachm of Azes II, c. 80 BC. A finely struck silver tetradrachm attributed to Azes II, ruler of the Indo-Scythians, dating to around 80 BC. One side features the king mounted on horseback, bow raised, shown in dynamic motion with surrounding Kharosthi legends. The reverse presents a standing deity, holding a long sceptre and offering gesture, framed by clear symbols and an encircling Kharosthi inscription. Each Tetradrachm weighs approx. 9.4g Provenance: Private collection from a distinguished Danish collector.
