A Near Eastern Bronze Seated Bull Lamp, 2nd Millennium BC. A bronze zoomorphic lamp modelled as a seated bull, formed with a rounded body tapering into a broad base and supporting two shallow circular oil reservoirs positioned at the front. The figure sits upright, its short forearms held forward, while the head is characterised by a prominent snout, rounded ears, and a raised crescent-shaped element above—possibly representing stylised horns. The upper section features a deep, bowl-like cavity intended for additional oil or illumination.
