A Qajar Copper Aftaba o Lagan (Ewer & Basin) Set, 19th Century. A copper aftaba and matching lagan, comprising a tall ewer with an elongated curved spout, a sweeping handle, and a domed lid topped with a pointed finial. The rounded body is bordered with engraved linework and soft oval panels. The accompanying basin features a broad circular form with a scalloped rim and a flaring foot, shaped to cradle the aftaba.
