Bidspirit auction | A Mamluk Bronze and Silver-Inlaid

A Mamluk Bronze and Silver-Inlaid Astrolabe-Form Handle, 14th–15th Century. A finely cast Mamluk bronze handle featuring a circular astrolabe-shaped terminal, richly decorated with incised geometric segments and bands of silver-inlaid Arabic inscriptions arranged around the perimeter. The elongated tapering handle displays further silver-inlaid motifs, including scrolling vinework, roundels, and figural-style panels, all executed with crisp linear detailing.
