Antique 19th Century, Grocer's Scale Stand is all that remains of a large fancy Victorian Grocer's Scale. This was a balance scale with a cross beam holding a hanging brass weighing pan on one side while the weights were adjusted on another pan hanging on the other side. This elegant stand could also be re-purposed in Numerous ways as displayed in one image. The decorative top portion is attached to a brass column which in turn is attached to the cast iron base.
Measuring 84cm tall. It is in anticipated antique condition with a few minor dents to the copper and with aged patina as can be seen in the photos. The pictures form part of the description so please view them carefully.
The purchaser is the highest accepted bidder.
