The dark tree trunks stand out against a pale sky in a very graphic composition where the bare branches create a dense and stylized network. Oil painting on canvas mounted on a stretcher signed in red lower right: F. Van Dyck dated 11.4.85 Wooden frame and gilded stucco with rocaille decoration. Dimensions (frame included): 67 × 85.5 cm. On the back handwritten indication: BELGIË 45 – 63 INK 2013 B. Condition: Large tear visible in the lower central area.”
