In 2017 the two artists photographed 750 residents workers or passers-by making them replay scenes from their daily lives. The whole is assembled in a monumental rhythmic and epic composition inspired by the frescoes of Diego Rivera (1886-1957). JR deploys the faces and memories of a population marked by the social fractures of Clichy-Montfermeil: unemployment drugs revolts but also urban renewal from the Urban Renewal Project launched in 2012 until the birth of the Médicis Clichy-Montfermeil project.
