In the background, the three large and famous pyramids of Giza are clearly visible. In front of the pyramids, three people riding camels are visible Back side The upper part contains the inscription in English: ”POST-CARD Egypt”. Two Egyptian stamps with a face value of 5 mil each are affixed, and on them is a portrait of King Farouk, King of Egypt. The stamps are dated 1938, Cairo (CAIRO). The postcard bears a blue ink overprint in the shape of a hexagon with the Hebrew letters ”מפ” - indicating that the postcard was officially censored by the British Mandate before its entry into Palestine. These stamps were used during the British Mandate period, mainly in the 1930s and 1940s, to mark postal items that had undergone security review and censorship.
