A particularly elegant Passover Haggadah, the work of painter and illustrator Arthur Szyk, published by Masada and Alumot in 1966. This Haggadah is known as one of the most impressive and important artistic Haggadahs produced in the 20th century, and it combines traditional text with colorful illustrations, rich in details and symbols from Jewish history and Zionist culture
Front side (cover):
The cover is made of dark blue velvet with a gilded decoration of an allegorical cup in its center - a symbol of Passover and freedom, decorated with Eastern European patterns with a Star of David at the bottom.
Title page:
The title of the Haggadah is presented in an impressive calligraphic font in red. It is noteworthy that this is an edition illustrated and decorated by the hands of Arthur Szyk, who is considered an important Jewish illustrator who dedicated his life to promoting the ideas of freedom, justice and Zionism.
Pages Interior:
The illustrations incorporate scenes from the Haggadah. The decorations include motifs of lions, dragons, Jewish symbols, the Stars of David, and crowns. Each page has a colorful, detailed frame that accompanies the traditional text.
