A rare envelope with historical significance sent from the Knesset in Tel Aviv on May 30, 1949 to Sarah Giladi, Kibbutz Giniger, and bearing a 5 mil stamp from the ”Hebrew Post” series with a tab and a special postmark ”Tel Aviv - Knesset - State of Israel” - excellent condition - A rare envelope with historical significance sent from the Knesset in Tel Aviv on May 30, 1949 to Sarah Giladi, Kibbutz Giniger, and bearing a 5 mil stamp from the ”Hebrew Post” series with a tab and a special postmark ”Tel Aviv - Knesset - State of Israel” - excellent condition A stamp with a face value of 5 mil with a tab from the ”Hebrew Post” series, in green, is affixed to the front of the envelope. Stamps with such a tab are considered very special items among collectors, as they were printed in a limited edition and as a one-off. The stamp is cancelled with a special postmark of ”Tel Aviv - Knesset - State of Israel”, dated May 30, 1949, less than a year after the Declaration of Independence.
