It hangs on a ribbon in the colors of the Syrian flag - red, white and black - with a small silver star in the center of the white stripe, and below it a wreath of silver laurel leaves symbolizing victory and recognition. The decoration is kept in an original, luxurious red box with the emblem of the Syrian Arab Republic (the eagle of Saladin holding the national shield) and the inscriptions in Arabic: ”وسام الإخلاس” (Order of Loyalty) and ”الدرجة الشرعة” (Fourth Class).
