Poland / Eastern European Territories - Lot of 2 early banknotes: 10 Polish Marek 1919 and 20 Kopeken 1916 - German issue from the occupied territories in Eastern Europe - Poland / Eastern European Territories - Lot of 2 early banknotes: 10 Polish Marek 1919 and 20 Kopeken 1916 - German issue from the occupied territories in Eastern Europe The first note is denominated 10 Marek Polskich, issued by Polska Krajowa Kasa Pożyczkowa - the Polish National Loan Bank, dated August 23, 1919, Warsaw. The front features the inscription Polska Krajowa Kasa Pożyczkowa, the denomination Dziesięć Marek Polskich, the Polish eagle emblem, a portrait on the right, signatures of the officials, and decorative ornaments in blue-green and brown colors. The back features decorative ornaments, the denomination 10, red serial number, and a warning against counterfeiting. The second note is denominated 20 Kopeken, dated April 17, 1916, issued by Ostbank für Handel und Gewerbe / Darlehnskasse Ost, in Posen. The front features the inscription Darlehnskassenschein, the denomination Zwanzig Kopeken, signatures, and decorative ornaments. The back features inscriptions in several languages, including Polish and Lithuanian, with the denomination 20 in the center and decorative ornaments.
