Tibetan Vajra Stand, Gilt Copper Alloy with Repoussé Decoration, 19th Century A ritual -  Tibetan vajra stand, approx. 25 cm high, crafted in copper alloy with repoussé decoration and traces of gilding. The front depicts Saraswati, the goddess of arts and music, playing a string instrument amidst floral scrolls, set on a tiered base. Originally used in Buddhist ceremonies as a support for the vajra.
