Clearing Weather at Awazu (Awazu Seiran) depicts Lake Biwa in Omi Province (modern Shiga Prefecture) from the celebrated series Eight Views of Omi. The composition shows sailboats gliding across the lake under clear, windy skies, with pine trees and the Tokaido road in the foreground, and distant views of Zeze Castle and Mount Hiei.
