Japanese Ginbari Cloisonné Hexagonal Box Meiji Period Fisherman Scene - A Japanese cloisonné enamel box executed in the Ginbari technique, dating to the Meiji period (late 19th–early 20th century). The hexagonal form features a finely painted lid depicting a fisherman on a bridge within a serene landscape of mountains and autumn foliage, framed by geometric ornament. The sides are richly decorated with floral motifs in warm tones. The Ginbari ground creates a distinctive luminous depth, enhancing the delicacy of the painted scene.
